Location

Lexington Park Cottages is located in picturesque Waikato farmland between the town of Cambridge and Lake Karapiro. Centrally located in the North Island of New Zealand, Cambridge and the beautiful Waipa Region are full of local attractions and also ideally situated for tourists exploring the rest of New Zealand. 

Lexington Park Cottages are only a short drive from State Highway 1, meaning easy access for travellers to and from Auckland, Rotorua, Taupo and the Bay of Plenty. We are also less the 20 Mins from Hamilton Airport, which offers domestic flights to centres in the North and South Island.

Our closest beaches are Raglan, on the West Coast, a black sand beach most famous for its surfing and Mt Maunganui on the East Coast, a white sandy beach and a popular destination for families.

Weather expectations for our region; In Summer we can expect warm, dry and settled weather. Typical summer day temperatures range from 21°C to 26°C. Winters are the most unsettled time of the year. Typical winter day temperatures range from 10°C to 14°C. Frosts occur in clear, calm conditions in winter.
